The Super Bowl and Human Trafficking

Nuns Denounce Human Trafficking Ahead Of Super Bowl XLVI, Educate Indianapolis Hotels Workers

We like football.  We are Giants fans. However, we don't like the trafficking that surrounds professional sports. The Blauvelt Congregation has committed itself to work against Human Trafficking, which is the illegal trade of human beings for the purposes of reproductive slavery, commercial sexual exploitation, forced labor, or other forms of modern-day slavery. In the U.S., Super Bowl weekend is one of the biggest opportunities for human traffickers.
