Burial: St. Dominic's Convent Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of St. Dominic, Blauvelt, New York.

There is a new,uncanonized saint in heaven now! I remember Sister and her horrible seasonal allergies, the can of Charms hard candy and box of Kleenex that was always on her desk at Saint Anthony's School in Oceanside. She was strict and one of the best teachers I have ever had!
My condolences to her family and the congregation.
May perpetual light shine upon and me she rest in peace amen!!!
Her allergies were awfull!! Her nose was red, her eyes watered terribly behind her glasses but I don't ever remember her taking a sick day the whole year that I had her!
What a wonderful woman! I have so many wonderful memories of her, and school.
So much that I have passed on to my family, was taught to me by the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt and I wrote JMJD at the top of my school papers well into High School, which was public!
Sister Rita was my 6th grade teacher back in 87-88. She was a wonderful lady and a great counselor when I needed one!
